ESTATE

Chateu Senejac is one of the better known Crus Bourgeois of the Haut-Medoc, located near to the vineyards of Margaux,  in the far south of the Haut-Médoc region.
The owner of Grand Cru Classé from Saint Julien Chateau Talbot, Lorraine Cordier has given a new impetus to raise the 28 ha vineyard up to the best Medoc wines was given since she acquired it in 1999. Chateau Senejac is a charming wine to drink young and is distinguished for its fullness and fruit and expresses its terroir with slow aging.

VARIETALS

Composition: 52% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 8% Cabernet-Franc, 4% Petit Verdot
Limited yields from vineyards with an average age of 35 years

VINIFICATION

The wine matured in oak barriques (25% new) during 18 months.

TASTING NOTES

Eye: deep color almost black in their young years.
Nose: very expressive nose exhales scents of black fruits and spices
Mouth: Château Sénéjac presents a lot of fullness and intensity while remaining suave and civilized thanks to the smoothness of its tannins
