Clos de l’Oratoire is a prestigious Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Émilion, owned by the renowned Stephan von Neipperg. Its 10-hectare vineyard sits on the limestone-clay slopes of northeastern Saint-Émilion.
The 2013 vintage is a blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, harvested between 6–10 October at an exceptionally low yield of just 17 hl/ha. The wine was vinified in wooden vats for 20 days with pneumatic pigeage, then aged on the lees for 15 months in 55% new French oak barrels, with no fining.
